Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to follow written instructions and interpret AutoCAD drawings and blueprints
  • Valid Kansas driver's license
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, and extended work days
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, scrubbers, floor buffers, mechanical lifting devices
  • Effective communication skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated with strong leadership abilities and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of operational equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, scrubbers, floor buffers, mechanical lifting devices, staging, retractable seating risers, basketball floors
  • Ability to follow written instructions and interpret AutoCAD drawings and blueprints
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Flexible schedule availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended days
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Valid Kansas driver's license

Job Duties

  • Oversees the operation of all event changeovers including basketball floor, stage risers, chairs, and signs
  • Performs routine to moderate maintenance tasks on livestock arena, exercise arena, stall barn, facility floors, chairs, staging, risers, and inventory
  • Oversees housekeeping services for the facilities
  • Assigns work activities, monitors workflow, identifies and resolves common operational issues
  • Maintains an accurate record keeping system for hazardous materials communication program
  • Interacts with clients, serves their needs within state and local laws, provides physical facility needs, and performs custodial duties
  • Performs moderate to difficult set-ups in livestock facilities and works around some livestock
  • Operates machinery including forklifts, skid steers, tractors, and pick-up trucks
  • Reviews, coordinates, and plans changeovers, facility maintenance, and operations work
