Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Experience with PC, Sabre, DECS, and RES
  • Ability to work shift work including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work on-site at assigned base location
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must pass FAA criminal background check and DOT drug test
  • Ability to work all shifts, holidays, and overtime
  • Must be flexible with shift rotation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • PC, Sabre, DECS, and RES experience
  • Ability to work shift work including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work on-site at assigned base location
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Completion of Flight Attendant training as prescribed by FAA strongly preferred
  • Current Passenger Service, Passenger Sales or Crew Scheduling experience
  • Knowledge of company on-time performance goals and dependability metrics
  • Understanding of working with contract labor groups
  • Sound judgement and strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Ability to work under demanding operational conditions
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work all shifts, holidays, and overtime as required
  • Requires rotation of shifts and days off
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks for unescorted airport security access
  • Must pass U.S. Department of Transportation mandated drug test

Job Duties

  • Act as liaison with local and system departments such as IOC, Control Center, Customer Care, Crew Scheduling, Customer Ops, Catering, and the Flight Department
  • Oversee flight service base operational reliability by leading dependability engagement, communication, and accountability
  • Handle operational events and proactively provide crew assistance or delay mitigation based on priority and operational impact
  • Coordinate with Daily Operations and IOC to respond to flight attendant injuries and aircraft emergencies providing appropriate guidance and support
  • Notify rescheduled and reassigned flight attendants traveling through the base
  • Provide status updates on department reliability and communicate irregularities impacting daily operations to relevant leadership
  • Coordinate with Crew Scheduling and Tracking for pre-boarding flights or re-crewing as necessary
  • Assist with administrative duties including delay investigations and operational reports
  • Investigate and document delays including Right Start, IPD, and IFS
  • Implement and enforce selected policies and guidelines
  • Coordinate and host base activities to support engagement initiatives
  • Conduct coaching and counseling as appropriate
  • Assist with Flight Attendant reasonable cause drug and alcohol testing
  • Provide Flight Attendant Electronic Flight Bag support
