Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum 4 years of related manufacturing assembly or aircraft maintenance experience
  • ability to work any shift
  • ability to lift and transport objects up to 40 lbs
  • must demonstrate leadership ability
  • good communication skills
  • must be proficient in interpretation of Gulfstream manufacturing standards
  • must have exceptional problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years of related manufacturing assembly or aircraft maintenance experience
  • Q-stamp preferred
  • strong leadership skills preferred
  • aviation structures background preferred
  • proficiency in interpretation of Gulfstream standards (GAMPs, GERs, MEPs)
  • exceptional problem identification and solving skills
  • ability to function as team leader or team member

Job Duties

  • Train team members as required on specific installs to ensure quality and proficiency
  • coordinate the development and updates to the Daily Work Plan (DWP)
  • lead team members in the assignment and completion of required operations per the DWP
  • serve as FOD and 6S team leader for the assigned area
  • assist manager with development of work around approaches when necessary
  • provide assistance to the manager for team’s EPR evaluations
  • ensure team completes and signs off all paperwork daily
  • ensure all metrics for DWP are posted and accurate daily
  • maintain skills matrix reflecting team’s proficiency level
  • be fully proficient in installation/build of assigned statement of work
  • follow engineering and manufacturing documents with discipline and integrity
  • perform other duties as assigned
