Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Six months of operations or janitorial experience
- Valid State of Florida Driver's License
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to operate personal or City vehicle
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor including lifting over 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Ability to perceive audio and visual cues
- Ability to use judgment and independent decision-making
- Proof of education and licenses required
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing
- Compliance with City policies and E-Verify requirements
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Six months of operations or janitorial experience
- Valid State of Florida Driver's License
- Associate's degree in Theatre Design/Technology, Fine Arts or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical labor and manage staff
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Provide oversight during facility open hours
- Direct operations employees and independent contractors in housekeeping, security, and parking
- Complete operational and logistical tasks for events
- Ensure professional customer courtesy and communication
- Open and close the building as needed
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain physical presence and punctuality during shifts
- Participate in cleaning and light maintenance duties
- Supervise, train, and inspect Operations staff
- Communicate maintenance needs to management
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Assist with special event set-up and breakdown
- Support special projects like painting and hurricane preparedness
- Secure the building and parking lot after events
