Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of operations or janitorial experience
  • Valid State of Florida Driver's License
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to operate personal or City vehicle
  • Ability to perform heavy physical labor including lifting over 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Ability to perceive audio and visual cues
  • Ability to use judgment and independent decision-making
  • Proof of education and licenses required
  • Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing
  • Compliance with City policies and E-Verify requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of operations or janitorial experience
  • Valid State of Florida Driver's License
  • Associate's degree in Theatre Design/Technology, Fine Arts or related field preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical labor and manage staff
  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Provide oversight during facility open hours
  • Direct operations employees and independent contractors in housekeeping, security, and parking
  • Complete operational and logistical tasks for events
  • Ensure professional customer courtesy and communication
  • Open and close the building as needed
  • Enforce all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain physical presence and punctuality during shifts
  • Participate in cleaning and light maintenance duties
  • Supervise, train, and inspect Operations staff
  • Communicate maintenance needs to management
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Assist with special event set-up and breakdown
  • Support special projects like painting and hurricane preparedness
  • Secure the building and parking lot after events
