Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience performing administrative functions in a PC-based business environment
  • Knowledge of PC word processing/spreadsheet software
  • Customer service concepts and techniques
  • Basic office equipment and machinery (PCs, copiers, fax machines, adding machines, calculators, etc.)
  • Filing and record-keeping procedures and systems
  • Relevant department concepts, procedures, and regulations
  • Purchasing
  • Order processing

  • Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with vendors verbally and in writing

Job Duties

  • Perform all work in accordance with environmental, health, safety, food safety, and quality standards, legal compliance, rules, regulations and practices of the facility
  • Performs routine administrative and clerical tasks, including updating production information, troubleshooting daily operations reporting issues, report generation, ensure timely, accurate, and thorough maintenance of files, logs, and records and to ensure compliance with GSF and relevant regulatory policies and procedures
  • Coordinates and performs physical inventory using a handheld computer
  • Monitors inventory location accuracy
  • Daily consumption location verification and reconciliation
  • returning unused production materials to inventory
  • Reviews/Audits production records to ensure correct consumption of materials and scrap factors are confirmed accurately and timely
  • Prepares a variety of daily and weekly statistical reports and logs for Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Operations and Warehouse, including Production Update Log to monitor progress toward established performance and productivity goals
  • Assists in serving as liaison between Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality Assurance to ensure data is available in ERP to achieve goals
  • Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and manage time to appropriately close month-end processing
  • Adjusts priorities, productivity, efficiency based on needs of department
  • Provides general clerical support and assistance to the department, acting as backup receptionist to ensure high levels of productivity and smooth operations
  • Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary
