Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year experience in hospitality or related service position
  • Food safety certification if applicable
  • CPR certification
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to follow safety and cleanliness standards
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
  • Willingness to participate in training and development

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of company policies
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate information in writing
  • Ability to understand and communicate ideas verbally
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and club software
  • At least one year of experience in hospitality or related service
  • Food safety certification if applicable
  • Professional and friendly manner with excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution abilities
  • Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • CPR certified

Job Duties

  • Greet members and guests upon arrival to the Club
  • Check members in by verifying their membership
  • Ensure all guests complete a Guest Registration Waiver and pay applicable fees
  • Book appointments, program, and class reservations
  • Provide information on Club programming and facilities
  • Deliver exceptional service experience to members, guests, and Associates
  • Represent the club professionally through image, dress, communication, and follow-up
  • Provide membership sales team with guest/prospect lead contacts
  • Operate cash register and process payments
  • Manage and balance cash drawer each shift
  • Perform opening and/or closing duties
  • Answer and transfer phone calls
  • Create and serve food and beverage items
  • Promote daily specials and encourage order upgrades
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment according to food safety standards
  • Provide Pool Deck guest services including seating and managing refreshments
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness and stock levels throughout the Club
  • Restock vanity supplies and janitorial products
  • Assist with laundry functions including collecting, washing, drying, and folding towels
  • Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate
  • Participate in required events, programs, meetings, and trainings
  • Flexibility to work day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
