Job Requirements

Less than high school education
0-1 year related experience
Must be able to skate or willing to learn
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to safety and emergency protocols

Job Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older
Highly motivated self-starter who is service minded and enthusiastic
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and nights
Meets minimum reading, writing, and mathematical requirements
Understanding of The Rinks commitment to quality service
Rink operations experience is a plus

Job Duties

Communicate rink program information to guests
Operate the Point of Sale system and perform daily cash-handling activities
Coordinate locker room check-in and check-out procedures
Greet and assist guests throughout the facility
Efficiently distribute skates and assist guests with proper skate size selection
Sharpen and maintain rental skates for quality performance
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of snack bar menu items and operate equipment
Safeguard public sessions by monitoring rink activity for safety
Perform scorekeeping duties accurately and communicate with referees
Set up and decorate party rooms and provide outstanding customer service during events
