Job Requirements

Must be 16 years of age or older
Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and nights
Meet minimum reading, writing, and mathematical requirements
Highly motivated self-starter
Service-minded, enthusiastic, and energetic

Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
Maintain a pleasant and professional style
Thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous customer service experience is an asset
Ability to handle cash accurately
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
Basic knowledge of rink operations is a plus
Skating ability or willingness to learn
Ability to maintain a professional and approachable demeanor

Job Duties

Communicate rink program information to guests
Operate point of sale system and perform cash-handling activities
Coordinate locker room check-in and check-out procedures
Greet and assist guests throughout the facility
Distribute skates and assist guests in proper skate size selection
Maintain and sharpen rental skates
Operate food and beverage equipment and prepare snack bar items
Monitor public session safety and rink conditions
Perform scorekeeping duties and communicate with referees
Set up and manage party room events
Provide excellent customer service
Adhere to first aid and emergency procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of rink facilities
Assist in maintenance projects
Perform clerical activities as needed
Support special events, tournaments, and competitions
Follow all company policies and procedures
