Job Description

Job Requirements
- Possession of a valid New Mexico driver's license or ability to obtain by date of hire
- possession of a City Operator's Permit within six months from date of hire
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- strong organizational and leadership skills
- effective communication abilities
- ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- five years managerial event program operations experience
- two years supervisory experience
- event management experience preferred
- marketing experience preferred
- public relations experience preferred
Job Duties
- Plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities of the operations division which includes security, technical crews and maintenance
- coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, departments and outside agencies
- provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the division manager
- oversee visitor experience and event coordination
- manage partner and vendor relationships
- develop event scheduling and provide on-site supervision
- ensure smooth operational flow of the CS-Route 66 Center events
