Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years of office or administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer proficiency including experience with spreadsheets and CRMs
  • Knowledge of Workday is a plus
  • Professional demeanor with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and contribute positively within a team environment
  • Experience with budgeting and requisitions is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary contact for event logistics and coordination of the Fall Career Expo and Spring Career Fair events
  • Manage employer registrations and sponsorships through Handshake and ensure proper processing of employer profiles
  • Collaborate with the Controller's Office for payment monitoring and reporting
  • Support the Executive Director with compiling reports, goal tracking, and special projects
  • Provide operational support by overseeing the Career Peer team managing front desk coverage
  • Engage students, employers, faculty, and staff visiting the Center for a welcoming environment
  • Lead logistical planning, support, and execution for recruitment events including space reservations and catering
  • Oversee student employees including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and timecard approvals
  • Maintain office supplies and refreshments
  • Represent the Center on campus committees and act as a liaison
  • Oversee the visual appearance of reception and resource areas
  • Maintain office operation SOP guidebook
  • Handle departmental correspondence and key communications
