Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years of office or administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and meet deadlines
  • Experience with budgeting and requisitions preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer proficiency including spreadsheets and CRMs
  • Knowledge of Workday is a plus
  • Professional demeanor with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and contribute positively
  • Experience with budgeting and requisitions highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary contact for event logistics and coordination of Fall Career Expo and Spring Career Fair events
  • Manage employer registrations and sponsorships through Handshake
  • Collaborate with the Controller's Office to monitor and process event payments
  • Provide operational support to the Career and Professional Development Center front desk
  • Supervise student employees including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and approving timecards
  • Lead logistical planning and execution of recruitment events including space reservations and catering
  • Maintain office supplies, reception area appearance, and guest kitchen space
  • Represent the Center on campus committees and act as a liaison for visitors
  • Maintain an SOP guidebook for office operations and oversee correspondence and communications
