Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree with relevant work experience
  • Experience in government, communications, business, or associations is a plus
  • Strong workflow organization and time management
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with legislators, members, and partners
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Solid problem-solving and reasoning skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams)
  • Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and data tracking
  • Bonus: Canva and Copilot experience

Job Duties

  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, and appointments
  • Support the five-person leadership team
  • Process expense reports and maintain digital files
  • Maintain accurate operational expense records
  • Support reporting in partnership with finance
  • Coordinate board meetings, staff functions, and special meetings
  • Manage invitations, materials, registrations, and follow-up
  • Help deliver a polished, professional experience
  • Proofread and format presentations and internal documents
  • Support process documentation and workflow improvements
