Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years of event management experience
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Adobe software
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and move 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Assist with the event management of varsity sport programs and major athletic events
  • Incorporate guest services, event staffing, and operations of visiting teams and officials
  • Coordinate with various units within the Athletic Department
  • Serve as primary or secondary event manager for assigned sports and contests
  • Act as visiting team liaison before and during team visits
  • Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and managing event team members
  • Provide support for premium event rentals and onsite event management of special events
  • Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned
