Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in property operations preferred
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergencies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to maintain detailed logs and records
  • Ability to work varied shifts including on-call
  • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
  • Ability to work in various physical positions
  • Ability to work in different environmental conditions
  • Valid Florida Driver's License
  • Ability to navigate property quickly
  • Ability to operate information systems

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalency
  • FA CPR AED certification desirable
  • Two to three years experience in a similar position preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service background
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Multiple language fluency desirable
  • Strong command of information system hardware and software
  • Valid Florida Driver's License

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills
  • Monitors control systems and emergency response systems
  • Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner
  • Accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms
  • Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building and property
  • Works shifts that are subject to change based on property needs
  • Checks in with the Property Manager during tropical storm or hurricane watches or warnings
  • Is courteous and respectful to fellow employees, residents, and guests
  • Maintains assigned areas in a neat and safe manner
  • Adheres to safety procedures and reports safety issues to the Property Manager immediately
  • Attends mandatory staff meetings
  • Supervises moves, deliveries, and construction activities ensuring compliance with property regulations
  • Assists the Receiving Department in keeping deliveries and workers orderly
  • Assists residents and guests courteously, referring complex questions to management office
  • Retrieves packages for residents following proper procedures
  • Relieves the Receiving clerk and Front Desk staff as needed
  • Monitors Valet personnel for compliance with traffic guidelines
  • Checks the alarm panel at beginning and end of shifts and reports issues
  • Assists Property Manager and Administrative Assistant as needed
  • Responds to mechanical, medical, or police emergencies
  • Reports incidents and irregularities to Property Manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
