Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalency
  • two or three years of experience in similar position preferred
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • strong customer service background
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong command of information system hardware/software
  • maintain valid Florida Driver’s License
  • physically able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • able to stand for long periods
  • able to work in various positions including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting
  • able to reach overhead and have wide mobility in upper and lower body
  • able to work in different environmental conditions such as heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity
  • able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment
  • able to repeat motions with wrists, hands, and fingers
  • able to handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
  • able to reach with hands and arms
  • able to communicate and exchange ideas verbally and in writing
  • able to navigate property quickly
  • able to respond to emergencies timely

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalency
  • FA CPR AED Certification desirable
  • two or three years of experience in a similar position preferred
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • strong customer service background
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • multiple language fluency desirable
  • strong command of information system hardware/software
  • maintain valid Florida Driver’s License

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills
  • monitors control systems and emergency response systems
  • responds to emergency situations in a timely manner
  • accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms
  • maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property
  • works shifts that are subject to change based on property needs
  • checks in with the Property Manager during Tropical Storm or Hurricane Watch or Warning
  • be courteous and respectful to fellow employees, residents, and guests
  • maintain assigned areas in a neat and safe manner
  • adhere to safety procedures and report any safety issues immediately
  • attend mandatory staff meetings
  • supervise moves, deliveries, and construction status ensuring compliance with property regulations
  • assist Receiving Department in managing orderly deliveries, moves, and construction workers
  • assist unit owners, residents, and guests courteously and refer complex questions to management
  • retrieve packages following proper procedures after receiving hours or when the Receiving Clerk is busy
  • relieve Receiving Clerk and Front Desk staff as needed
  • monitor Valet Personnel compliance with Association’s guidelines
  • check First Alarm Panel at shift start/end and report malfunctions
  • assist Property Manager and Administrative Assistant
  • respond to mechanical, medical, or police emergencies
  • report issues promptly and document irregularities on incident reports
  • perform other duties assigned by Operations Manager or Property Manager
