Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in airline or contracted airline services
- must be 18 years of age or older
- must have reliable telephone and transportation
- must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- must be able to read, understand, and carry out instructions in English
- must be able to verbally direct in English
- must meet requirements to obtain security sensitive identification badge
- must be a US citizen or possess the necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service
- able to sit, stand, lift, and bend throughout the shift
- able to work in extreme weather conditions
- able to handle early/late flights and delays
- treat all information as confidential
- possess tact in dealing with various people
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- airline or contracted airline services experience preferably as ticket agent, gate agent, or operations agent
- strong mathematical problem solving skills
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work in various climatic conditions
- ability to manage non-routine situations related to flights and passenger assistance
- ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English
- ability to obtain security sensitive identification badge
- problem resolution skills
- citizenship or necessary authorization from INS
Job Duties
- Utilize airline systems to plan flight weight and balance
- oversee gate functions and pre-boarding/boarding processes
- ensure compliance with on-time departure requirements
- monitor employee activity and enforce regulations
- communicate effectively with passengers and client representatives
- conduct quality assurance service audits
- implement Safety Management System (SMS) protocols
- respond to and resolve passenger and operational issues
- maintain accurate records and reports
- participate in training and meetings
- ensure proper uniform and identification badge display
