Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in airline or contracted airline services
- 18 years of age or older
- possess reliable telephone and transportation
- able to sit, stand, lift, or bend throughout shift
- willing to work in various climatic conditions
- pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English
- meet requirements for security sensitive identification badge
- united states citizenship or necessary INS authorization
- maintain confidentiality
- possess tact in handling diverse situations
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- airline or contracted airline services experience preferably ticket agent, gate agent, or ops
- mathematical problem solving skills
- verbal and written communication skills
- ability to read, understand, and follow instructions in English
- must be 18 years of age or older
- able to resolve passenger issues courteously
- ability to verbally direct in English
- familiarity with pertinent regulations
- computer system proficiency
- strong interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- plan flight weight and balance using airline system
- oversee gate functions and pre-boarding/boarding process
- ensure on-time departure
- monitor employee activity and make adjustments
- enforce compliance with regulations and procedures
- communicate effectively with employees, clients, and passengers
- implement safety plans and participate in Safety Management System
- perform quality assurance service audits
- maintain training records and report incidents
- project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries
- attend meetings and maintain necessary records
- maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs
- utilize company resources efficiently
- perform additional duties as requested
