Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- airline or contracted airline experience preferred
- must have a telephone
- must have reliable telephone and transportation
- able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift
- willing and able to work in extreme climatic conditions
- must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- must read, understand and carry out instructions in English
- meet requirements for security sensitive identification badge
- must be a US citizen or have necessary INS authorization
- able to deal tactfully with all levels of situations
- able to respond to problem passenger situations
- willing to work early, late, and irregular hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in airline or contracted airline services preferably as ticket agent, gate agent, or operations
- mathematical problem solving skills
- verbal and written communication skills
- ability to treat information confidentially
- tactful in dealing with clients, employees and the public
- able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English
- able to verbally direct in English
- able to resolve passenger problem situations
- must be 18 years or older
Job Duties
- Plan flight weight and balance using airline systems
- determine number of passengers for safe boarding
- oversee gate functions and pre-boarding process
- ensure on-time departures
- monitor employee activity and enforce regulations
- communicate effectively with staff and clients
- perform quality assurance audits as needed
