Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • must meet requirements to obtain security sensitive identification badge
  • must be a US citizen or have INS authorization
  • must be willing and able to work non-routine situations including delays and passenger accommodations
  • must be able to resolve problem situations with passengers when necessary

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in airline or contracted airline services preferably ticket agent, gate agent, or ops
  • mathematical problem solving skills
  • verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to treat information confidentially
  • ability to work in various climatic conditions
  • English reading and verbal communication proficiency

Job Duties

  • Utilize airline system to plan flight weight and balance
  • determine number of passengers for safe boarding
  • oversee gate functions and pre-boarding/boarding process
  • ensure on-time flight departures
  • communicate effectively with employees and client representatives
  • monitor employee activity and enforce regulations
  • perform quality assurance audits
