Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a telephone
Must have reliable telephone and transportation
Must possess tact and professionalism dealing with clients and public
Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift
Willingness and ability to work in climate extremes and adverse weather
Must meet necessary security clearance requirements
Must be able to verbally direct in English
Must maintain confidentiality
Must be a US citizen or possess Immigration and Naturalization Service authorization
Must be able to resolve passenger issues when necessary

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in airline or contracted airline services preferably as Ticket Agent, Gate Agent, or Operations
Strong mathematical problem solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to treat information confidentially
Ability to work in varying climatic conditions
Capability to manage non-routine situations including flight delays and passenger accommodations
Ability to read, understand, and give instructions in English
Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests
Authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties

Utilize airline system to plan flight weight and balance including determining safe passenger numbers
Oversee gate functions including pre-boarding and boarding processes
Monitor and direct employee activities and ensure compliance with regulations
Address passenger inquiries and problem situations courteously
Maintain up-to-date training records and perform quality assurance audits
Communicate safety hazards and operational issues to management
Adhere to company policies and represent the company professionally
