Job Duties

  • Learn about mining and limestone manufacturing process and environment
  • assist with planning and implementation of plant lean events (5S audits, Kaizens, Problem Solving)
  • follow up with area department managers and planners on Newspaper item work and support plant PDCA activities
  • support plant-wide visual management projects
  • assist with Standard Work document reviews and upload revisions/updates using ZenQMS
  • help with quarter OE plant assessments and learn the reporting process
  • interact and help departmental teams with tasks and projects
  • actively participate in sustainable improvement processes such as 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, Standard Work and Problem Solving
