Job Duties
- Learn about mining and limestone manufacturing process and environment
- assist with planning and implementation of plant lean events (5S audits, Kaizens, Problem Solving)
- follow up with area department managers and planners on Newspaper item work and support plant PDCA activities
- support plant-wide visual management projects
- assist with Standard Work document reviews and upload revisions/updates using ZenQMS
- help with quarter OE plant assessments and learn the reporting process
- interact and help departmental teams with tasks and projects
- actively participate in sustainable improvement processes such as 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, Standard Work and Problem Solving
