Job Requirements

  • full-time employment
  • on-site work at Metro Aviation Headquarters in Shreveport, Louisiana
  • compliance with FAA regulations FAR 135.619
  • adherence to Metro Aviation General Operations Manual, Policy and Procedures, and Company Bulletins
  • ability to work 182.5 work days or 1,825 hours per year
  • capable of working 10-hour shifts on a 5 on/5 off schedule with possible workover
  • able to work in a temperature-controlled office environment
  • no visa sponsorship available
  • able to perform prolonged periods of sitting and computer work

Job Qualifications

  • at least two years of experience in military operations, air carrier operations, or aircraft operations
  • preferred experience in air ambulance operations
  • sound judgment and objectivity in decision-making
  • effective oral and written communication skills
  • demonstrated leadership qualities and strong initiative
  • ability to maintain cooperative and harmonious relationships
  • basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Job Duties

  • monitor flight operations
  • participate in flight coordination and dispatch
  • assist with flight planning
  • comply with all company policies and federal aviation regulations
  • interact and provide quality customer service with partner communication centers
  • promptly escalate operational, personnel, or customer conflicts or concerns
  • participate in new hire and partner communication center training as needed
