Job Duties

  • review shipping documents and submit to customs broker
  • monitor clearance status with CBP/OGA (FDA, USDA, FWS), follow up directly if needed
  • notify customers of delays or holds, and coordinate delivery/pickup schedules
  • verify and recondition cargo as necessary (re-icing, re-packing, minor repairs)
  • manage warehouse, cooler, and freezer inventory
  • communicate with customers, vendors, and overseas/domestic agents
  • handle billing, invoices, and file closing in accordance with fee schedules
  • provide quotations and maintain competitive rates
  • stay updated on import/export regulations and TSA compliance
