Job Requirements
- At least one year of operating room or hospital housekeeping experience
- ability to work Monday through Friday from 11 am to 7:30 pm
- basic understanding of cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- physical capability to perform cleaning tasks
- reliability and punctuality
- ability to follow instructions accurately
- commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of operating room housekeeping or related environmental service experience
- knowledge of hospital cleaning procedures and infection control standards
- ability to use cleaning tools and disinfectants properly
- attention to detail in maintaining sanitary conditions
- ability to follow established procedures and safety protocols
- good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
- effective communication skills for teamwork
Job Duties
- Performing environmental service duties to maintain hospital cleanliness
- conducting standard terminal cleaning of the surgery department after daily surgeries
- cleaning all OR suites to eliminate biological matter and refuse
- wiping down equipment and devices using disinfectants
- mopping floors with clean mop heads and disinfectant solutions
- disinfecting scrub sinks and cleaning foot mats in Sterile Processing and Decontamination areas
- removing refuse from all assigned areas
