Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- less than 1 year of relevant work experience
- ability to perform general cleaning and sanitation tasks
- knowledge of safety and infection control standards
- capability to handle biohazardous and solid waste
- effective communication skills
- availability to work third shift, Monday through Friday 11 PM to 7:30 AM
- ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

- intermediate customer service skills
- knowledge of surgical equipment and related devices

Job Duties
- Responds to emergency calls or requests for cleaning services
- assists in preparing patient rooms for procedures including cleaning, sanitation, and removing supplies/equipment
- transports special equipment and supply needs based on AAMI standards
- may remove solid and/or biohazard trash
- ensures instrumentation, supplies, and specialty equipment are delivered and available for scheduled procedures
- delivers sterile supplies and equipment to the operating room
- performs general cleaning tasks within and outside of patient rooms
- adheres to safety and infection control protocols
