- must be able to read and write to comprehend written and oral instructions

Job Duties
- Performs general and terminal cleaning in the OR and other assigned areas daily, between procedures, and when required due to protocols of organization and infection control
- maintains a clean and orderly environment in the OR
- assists with OR procedures by gathering appropriate equipment and positioning devices required
- responsible for reporting equipment and positioning devices that are in need of repair
- orders and stocks OR suites and general areas with linens and supplies
- restocks various specialty carts as assigned, if trained
- transports carts, instruments, supplies and equipment to various departments as assigned
- transports blood, blood products, specimens, and patients as directed
- adheres to attendance policy and OR attire policy
- maintains annual training requirements
- accepts direction
- follows written and verbal instructions promptly and accurately
- performs other duties as assigned
- complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct
