Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in restaurant management or leadership role
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- capacity to stand and remain active during shifts
- keen attention to detail and customer service orientation
- ability to handle cash and complete administrative tasks accurately
- willingness to participate in ongoing skills development and certification programs
- strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional relationships
- physical ability to perform tasks including bending, lifting, and reaching
- commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- experience managing a fast-paced restaurant or similar operation
- leadership skills including team development and conflict resolution

Job Duties
- protects and promotes the Whataburger brand at all times
- consistently completes operational checklists and safety audits
- conducts recruitment, interviews, and orientation for new staff
- leads training and certification programs for team members
- manages performance reviews and disciplinary actions
- oversees scheduling and shift management based on sales forecasts
- ensures compliance with cash handling and food safety procedures
- monitors quality of food production and customer service
- conducts inventory, order supplies, and manages budgets
- leads customer feedback initiatives and implements improvements
- organizes maintenance and equipment servicing
- fosters effective communication with area and senior management
