Job Requirements
- 21 plus years of age
- must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- license to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- ability to read, write and communicate in English
- touch freight - may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly
- flexibility - overtime as required, weekends and holidays as business needs require
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL-A)
- clean driving record
- ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- physical ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 100 pounds
- prior experience in delivery driving preferred but not required
- knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
Job Duties
- Drive local delivery routes and ensure timely delivery of fresh products
- load and unload freight, including items weighing up to 100 pounds
- maintain a clean and safe driving record
- communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- comply with all DOT and company safety regulations
- perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- handle freight carefully to preserve product quality
