Job Requirements
- experience in a food and beverage setting required
- valid San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card required
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to perform physical tasks including stooping and lifting
Job Qualifications
- experience in a food and beverage setting
- valid San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card
- basic understanding of food service health codes and sanitation standards
- ability to follow verbal and written directions
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Job Duties
- maintains sanitary and safe work environment
- maintains clean dry floors and walls by sweeping and mopping
- scrapes food from dishes and washes them by hand or with a dishwashing machine
- washes pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, ranges, refrigerators and meat blocks
- segregates and removes trash and garbage into designated containers
- hoses out or steam cleans garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- sets up, maintains, and works dishwashing stations at events
- keeps all china, glass, and silverware in place and order
- performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
