Job Requirements

  • Valid food handler's card obtained within 30 days of hire
  • RBS certification
  • minimum of six months work experience in service-oriented environment
  • ability to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours
  • ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods during events
  • adherence to company dress code including black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
  • strong guest service orientation
  • willingness to nurture positive teamwork

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of six months work experience in a service-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Report for work in proper uniform according to scheduled time
  • follow instructions for each event as given by the Food & Beverage Manager or Supervisor
  • assist with collecting all banquet equipment including flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces
  • maintain, organize, and clean all equipment
  • ensure all signage is properly displayed for each event
  • greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner
  • accurately use POS system while serving high volumes of guests at concession stands
  • expedite guest food orders in a timely manner
  • stock product, set up condiment stations, cashier stations, and display baskets
  • thoroughly complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
  • practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
  • assist in preparation of food items
  • check concessions equipment to ensure proper use
  • understand and execute responsible alcohol service
  • maintain proper sanitation and food safety
  • assist guests with directions as needed
  • report customer concerns or complaints to Manager or Supervisor
  • prepare tables with place settings as instructed
  • attend pre-function meetings for event briefing
  • break down tables and banquet equipment after each event
  • clean and return serving pieces to proper storage
  • perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary
