Job Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
  • Possess a valid driver license
  • Clean DMV record for 5 years
  • Ability to obtain SIDA badge and clear 10-year background verification
  • Pass background check and drug screen
  • Able to stand for the full duration of shifts
  • Available to work in cold rooms when necessary
  • Ability to lift frequently 50 pounds and occasionally over 25 pounds
  • Must be willing to pay union dues after 60 days
  • Must be available for full-time work including weekends and holidays
  • Complete application and orientation process in English
  • Able to bend, stoop, twist repeatedly and stand 8-12 hours daily

Job Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record for 5 years
  • Ability to obtain SIDA badge and clear 10-year background verification
  • Experience driving large delivery trucks
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to apply safety standards
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds safely
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, walk on uneven surfaces, and work intermittently during shifts
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to comprehend verbal and written specifications in English
  • Must be a team player able to work well within a diverse team
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule

Job Duties

  • Set-up flights
  • Read and understand flight diagrams and truck loading procedures
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Meet selected flight upon arrival to cater or approach aircraft
  • Supply flights as needed
  • Move vehicles
  • Conduct truck and vehicle inspection
  • Check flights upon departure for 100% accuracy
  • Interact with flight attendants and brief crews
  • Handle flight attendant complaints and concerns, resolve problems
  • Communicate any problems with flight to dispatch
  • Provide feedback to operation to get to root cause
  • Guide flights in and out of aircraft when needed
  • Perform housekeeping basic functions as per department requirement
  • Comply with all customer service SOPs
