Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
prior property maintenance or hospitality experience preferred
ability to lift push pull up to 50 pounds
willingness to live onsite and be available for overnight on call duties
flexibility to perform multiple hotel responsibilities
good communication skills
ability to follow safety and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in property maintenance or hospitality preferred
ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
strong organizational skills
excellent customer service and communication skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs

Job Duties

managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours and addressing guest needs or concerns
regularly being on call overnight for after-hours guest needs
performing other duties as assigned
