Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in property maintenance or hospitality roles
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • availability to live onsite and provide overnight on-call support
  • flexible schedule to accommodate multiple duties
  • adherence to safety and security policies
  • drug-free workplace compliance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or a related hospitality role preferred
  • strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • good communication and customer service abilities
  • ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
  • familiarity with preventative maintenance programs
  • physical ability to perform stairs, ladders, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs
  • willingness to live onsite and work flexible hours including overnight shifts

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work, such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • handling light plumbing tasks, including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
  • carrying out public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • performing trash cleanup and PTAC cleaning
  • managing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours and addressing any guest needs or concerns
  • regularly being on call overnight for after-hours guest needs
  • performing other duties as assigned
