Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in maintenance or similar role
- availability to live onsite and take overnight calls
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending and twisting for extended periods
- flexibility to work varied shifts
- strong communication skills
- ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
Job Qualifications

- prior experience in maintenance or property management preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to perform janitorial and housekeeping support tasks
- customer service experience
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- basic inventory management skills
- ability to live onsite and be available for overnight on-call duties
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- handling light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- maintaining public spaces and performing janitorial duties
- upkeep of parking lot and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management for needed supplies
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
- reviewing maintenance needs in guest rooms
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours
- providing excellent customer service and addressing guest needs or concerns
- being on call overnight regularly for after-hours guest needs
- performing other duties as assigned
