Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or similar roles preferred
  • ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work overnight and live on-site
  • flexible schedule including availability for after-hours calls
  • valid means of transportation
  • good communication skills
  • ability to adhere to safety protocols
  • commitment to teamwork and providing excellent guest service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in maintenance or property management preferred
  • knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and climbing
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to manage inventory
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • repairing drywall, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours
  • providing excellent customer service and addressing guest needs or concerns
  • regularly being on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
  • performing other duties as assigned
