Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or property management
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs
- availability to live onsite and be on call overnight
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- flexibility to manage multiple tasks
- commitment to excellent customer service

- knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- implementing preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- repairing drywall, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours, providing excellent customer service and addressing any guest needs or concerns
- regularly being on call overnight for after-hours guest needs
- performing other duties as assigned
