Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
- capable of performing physical activities including lifting up to 50lbs, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, and standing for long periods
- availability to live onsite and participate in overnight on-call duties
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- flexible schedule to complete multiple hotel responsibilities
- willingness to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks
- strong organizational skills for managing inventory
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to follow emergency procedures
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving climbing stairs, bending, and lifting
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- performing preventative maintenance programs
- janitorial work in public spaces
- parking lot upkeep
- trash cleanup
- PTAC cleaning
- drywall repair
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours
- providing excellent customer service and addressing guest needs or concerns
- regularly being on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
- performing other duties as assigned
