Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in maintenance, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to live onsite and perform overnight on-call duties
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to respond promptly to emergency situations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in hotel maintenance or property management is a plus
  • Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
  • Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to live onsite and respond to after-hours calls

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • Conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • Performing public space janitorial work
  • Maintaining parking lot upkeep
  • Performing trash cleanup
  • Cleaning PTAC units
  • Repairing drywall
  • Painting
  • Caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours and providing excellent customer service
  • Being regularly on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
  • Performing other duties as assigned
