Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in maintenance, hospitality, or related field preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to live onsite and perform overnight on-call duties
- Availability to work flexible hours
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to respond promptly to emergency situations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in hotel maintenance or property management is a plus
- Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to live onsite and respond to after-hours calls
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- Conducting preventative maintenance programs
- Performing public space janitorial work
- Maintaining parking lot upkeep
- Performing trash cleanup
- Cleaning PTAC units
- Repairing drywall
- Painting
- Caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours and providing excellent customer service
- Being regularly on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
- Performing other duties as assigned
