Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or hospitality is preferred
- ability to live onsite and be on call overnight
- capacity to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
- capability to perform repetitive physical activities including climbing stairs and ladders
- willingness to perform various maintenance and cleaning duties
- excellent problem-solving skills
- strong attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in property maintenance or hospitality preferred
- knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repair
- ability to perform physical tasks requiring bending, kneeling, lifting, and climbing
- good customer service and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- flexibility to work overnight shifts and live onsite
Job Duties
- managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- conducting preventative maintenance programs
- performing janitorial work in public spaces
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours and providing excellent customer service
- regularly being on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
- performing other duties as assigned
