Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or hospitality is preferred
  • ability to live onsite and be on call overnight
  • capacity to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
  • capability to perform repetitive physical activities including climbing stairs and ladders
  • willingness to perform various maintenance and cleaning duties
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • strong attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in property maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repair
  • ability to perform physical tasks requiring bending, kneeling, lifting, and climbing
  • good customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • flexibility to work overnight shifts and live onsite

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • performing janitorial work in public spaces
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours and providing excellent customer service
  • regularly being on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
  • performing other duties as assigned
