Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in maintenance or hospitality roles preferred
- Ability to live onsite and be available for overnight on-call duties
- Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability for flexible scheduling including overnight shifts
- Commitment to providing excellent guest service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
- Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
- Strong organizational skills for inventory management
- Customer service experience beneficial
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of emergency procedures and security protocols
- Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Conducting light plumbing tasks like plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- Performing preventative maintenance programs
- Cleaning public spaces and parking lot upkeep
- Handling trash cleanup
- Performing PTAC cleaning
- Conducting drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing guest needs or concerns
- Being on call overnight regularly for after-hours guest needs
- Performing other duties as assigned
