Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or similar field preferred
  • Availability to live onsite and take overnight on-call responsibilities
  • Willingness to follow property emergency procedures
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or property attendant role preferred
  • Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts and live onsite

Job Duties

  • Manage work orders in a timely manner adhering to preventative maintenance schedules
  • Shampoo carpets and clean hard surface floors
  • Perform light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • Conduct light plumbing tasks including plunging or snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • Carry out public space janitorial duties and parking lot upkeep
  • Prepare rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Assist with checking guests in and out during after-hours and provide excellent customer service
  • Be on call overnight to handle after-hours guest needs and emergencies
  • Maintain and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, providing orders to management
  • Follow property emergency procedures and ensure security
  • Perform other duties as assigned
