Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in maintenance or related field preferred
- Ability to live onsite and be available for overnight on-call duties
- Capability to lift, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to perform physical tasks such as kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and climbing stairs regularly
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Commitment to adhering to property emergency procedures and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in property maintenance or general hotel operations preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and take on call responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing work beneficial
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- Maintaining public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Cleaning PTAC units and completing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash and moving furniture
- Following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours and providing excellent customer service
- Being regularly on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
- Performing other duties as assigned
