Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in maintenance or related field preferred
  • Ability to live onsite and be available for overnight on-call duties
  • Capability to lift, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks such as kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and climbing stairs regularly
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Commitment to adhering to property emergency procedures and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in property maintenance or general hotel operations preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts and take on call responsibilities
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing work beneficial
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
  • Maintaining public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • Cleaning PTAC units and completing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash and moving furniture
  • Following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours and providing excellent customer service
  • Being regularly on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
  • Performing other duties as assigned
