Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance or custodial role preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs, climbing stairs and ladders
- ability to work flexible hours including overnight on-call shifts
- strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
- good communication skills
- willingness to live onsite
Job Qualifications

- previous experience in hotel maintenance or custodial work preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- strong organizational and time management skills
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to live onsite and respond to after-hours calls
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- executing light plumbing tasks including plunging or snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours
- regularly being on call overnight for after-hours guest needs
- performing other duties as assigned
