Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance or custodial role preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs, climbing stairs and ladders
  • ability to work flexible hours including overnight on-call shifts
  • strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to live onsite

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or custodial work preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • good communication and customer service skills
  • ability to live onsite and respond to after-hours calls

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • executing light plumbing tasks including plunging or snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours
  • regularly being on call overnight for after-hours guest needs
  • performing other duties as assigned
