Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or janitorial roles preferred
- ability to live onsite
- physical ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend and twist for long periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
- willingness to work overnight on-call shifts
- good communication skills
- reliable and flexible work availability
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs, climbing stairs and ladders
- strong communication and customer service skills
- capability to work independently and as part of a team
- flexibility to handle overnight on-call responsibilities
Job Duties
- managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- conducting preventative maintenance programs
- performing janitorial work in public spaces
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures to ensure security of property and guests
- assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours
- providing excellent customer service and addressing guest needs or concerns
- regularly being on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
- performing other duties as assigned
