Job Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders
- Ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for long periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work on-site including overnight shifts
- Willingness to be on call for after-hours guest needs
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Pass background check and comply with drug-free workplace policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to respond promptly to after-hours calls
Job Duties
- Managing work orders promptly and following preventative maintenance schedules
- Performing maintenance tasks such as carpet shampooing, floor cleaning, light electrical and plumbing work, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- Cleaning public areas and maintaining the parking lot and trash cleanup
- Preparing rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of property and guests
- Assisting with guest check-in and check-out during after-hours providing excellent customer service
- Being on call overnight for after-hours guest needs
