Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders
  • Ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for long periods
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work on-site including overnight shifts
  • Willingness to be on call for after-hours guest needs
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Pass background check and comply with drug-free workplace policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to respond promptly to after-hours calls

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders promptly and following preventative maintenance schedules
  • Performing maintenance tasks such as carpet shampooing, floor cleaning, light electrical and plumbing work, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • Cleaning public areas and maintaining the parking lot and trash cleanup
  • Preparing rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of property and guests
  • Assisting with guest check-in and check-out during after-hours providing excellent customer service
  • Being on call overnight for after-hours guest needs
