Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities
- must be able to live onsite
- ability to work overnight on-call shifts
- good communication skills
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- customer service experience
- ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- willingness to live onsite and be available for overnight call duties
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- performing preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep
- cleaning trash
- PTAC cleaning
- drywall repair
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- assisting with checking in and checking out guests during after-hours
- providing excellent customer service and addressing any guest needs or concerns
- regularly being on call overnight for afterhours guest needs
- performing other duties as assigned
