Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Strong preference for hospitality or event management education or experience
  • Excellent computer skills including G-suite proficiency
  • Must have professional communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work variable hours including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to physically endure extensive standing and lifting
  • Dependable, flexible and self-directed work ethic
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels independently and collaboratively

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong preference for degree programs in hospitality or event management or equivalent hospitality experience
  • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of G-suite tools and ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Professional communication, teamwork and leadership skills
  • Ability to work with a flexible schedule including last minute changes
  • Capability to handle physical demands including extensive standing and lifting
  • Dependability, flexibility, self-direction, and ability to work independently and in a team with all levels of employees

Job Duties

  • Manage all onsite logistics for assigned programs and events including transportation, registration, hospitality desk, catering, facilities, activities, technology and executive/VIP handling
  • Provide guidance and consultative support to clients and guests
  • Conform to all corporate, department and performance policies
  • Assist in problem solving
  • Anticipate and resolve onsite challenges
  • Maintain proactive and open communication with clients to ensure understanding of expectations and client satisfaction
  • Ensure an exceptional attendee and guest experience by demonstrating a high level of customer service
  • Regularly maintain and audit assigned internal event spaces, identify areas needing improvement, manage maintenance requests and follow up to resolution
  • Manage team resource documents and support various projects assigned by manager
