Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in hospitality or event management preferred
- Strong computer literacy with ability to learn new tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility in schedule to accommodate last-minute changes
- Physical ability to perform role requirements including standing and lifting
- Dependability and self-motivation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong preference for degree programs in hospitality or event management or equivalent hospitality experience
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of G-suite tools and ability to learn new technology quickly
- Professional communication skills
- Teamwork and leadership abilities
- Ability to work with a flexible schedule including last-minute changes
- Ability to handle physical demands such as extensive standing and lifting
- Dependable, flexible, self-directed with ability to work independently and collaboratively at all employee levels
Job Duties
- Manage onsite logistics for assigned programs and events including transportation, registration, hospitality desk, catering, facilities, activities, technology, and executive/VIP handling
- Provide guidance and consultative support to clients and guests
- Conform to all corporate, department, and performance policies
- Assist in problem solving and anticipate and resolve onsite challenges
- Maintain proactive and positive communication with clients to ensure understanding and satisfaction
- Ensure overall attendee and guest experience is exceptional by demonstrating superior customer service
- Regularly maintain and audit assigned internal event spaces, identify improvement areas, manage maintenance requests and resolution follow-ups
- Manage team resource documents and support various administrative projects as assigned by manager
