Job Requirements

  • Strong and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Understands the business and services provided
  • Works well independently and with others
  • Meticulous with excellent organizational skills and exceptional time-management including effectively prioritizing emails and tasks
  • Ability to take initiative and demonstrate problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to manage large volume of emails and following up on items daily on all tasks through to resolution
  • Ability to effectively develop solid relationships with the client, internal, and external teams
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work with various personalities and styles of individuals
  • Must be able to follow instructions and ask questions
  • Must be able to work well unsupervised in a virtual environment, be self-sufficient but also take direction well from others and must be able to work well on a team
  • Ability to help build positive relations within the team and external parties
  • Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience within staffing industry, HR related role, customer service or call center
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Proven experience as a coordinator or relevant position
  • High sense of urgency with ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Adhere to a thorough work ethic and sense of commitment
  • Detail-oriented and efficient
  • Knowledge of staffing industry and practices is desired
  • Industry experience is preferred

Job Duties

  • Represent Volt and clients in a professional, courteous and knowledgeable manner
  • Support the sourcing and recruiting efforts for designated area
  • Timely maintenance of administrative tasks including data entry and integrity of candidate information
  • Answer the telephone and provide assistance for common questions or direct callers as appropriate
  • Obtain or assist in the completion of job descriptions, salary ranges, performance reviews and salary increases
  • Screen resumes and schedule candidate interviews
  • Maintain requisition and assignment data within front office system
  • Maintain written documentation on specific policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with local employment and privacy law including pre-employment screening requirements
  • Escort all new External Talent to work area on their first day of assignment
  • Liaise as needed to support time collection, payroll or billing processes and issue resolution
  • Assist in any event coordination and attend as Volt representative when appropriate
  • Prepare miscellaneous reports as requested and complete special projects as assigned
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues
  • Conduct off-boarding processes including termination email notifications and exit interviews as applicable
  • Ability to arrive to work at a specified time
  • Attendance is an essential function of the job
