Job Requirements

  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full shifts
  • Ability to type and operate necessary equipment
  • Ability to work in varying noise, temperature, and environmental conditions
  • Reliable transportation for travel to multiple event locations
  • Availability for nights and weekends
  • Part-time, non-exempt employment status

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of food experience (restaurant, hotel, catering, etc.)
  • Exceptional organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a team
  • Passion for good food and drink and providing Texas style hospitality
  • Ability to integrate into the culture of Contigo Catering and represent the company professionally

Job Duties

  • Set up and unload catering truck
  • Organize and manage bar and beverage service
  • Mix and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and mocktails according to recipes and guest preferences
  • Check IDs and ensure responsible alcohol service compliant with TABC standards
  • Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing bar throughout the event
  • Participate in pre-shift briefings and collaborate with event staff for seamless guest experience
  • Assist with general event setup and cleanup as needed
